Here's your chance to acquire a1962 Ford Thunderbird Factory Roadster in triple Raven Black. It's the real deal.I'm selling itfor my neighbor who has since retired and no longer has interest in driving it anymore. He inherited it from his uncle who used to work at Loeber Motors here in Chicago. They were a Mercedes, olls and Porsche dealership back then and the car came inon a trade. It's an older restoration with all original interior and runs excellent, rives straight and smooth and shifts like it should, cruiseomatic).Does not smoke. Here's a link to hear it running. Click on it OR open another window and Copy and Paste it in your browser which will take you to the youtube video.

Mileage appears to be original and did not roll over. The locking gas cap had to be removed since we misplaced the key, nd has not been replaced. There are some extra moldings for the car. The top is currently inoperable. It could be the switch or the fuse. I have not had a chance to look at it, ut it was working perfectly the last time he took it to a mechanic for someroutine maintenance. Again, probably something very minor.Tires, rakes, uspensionall good. Thereappears to be missing one center hub, ut it could be in the trunk. Has an Edelbrock replacement 4 barrel carb but comes with the original air filter or what's in the photo. My neighbor also said there may be some more parts in the trunk (like the center hub and the original air cleaner center piece, ut since the top is up I have no way of verifying that. All in all, t's in decent shape. Floors and frame look solid. Drive i, estore it, r both. Fairly priced considering it's a factory roadster not an aftermarket, ompletely original, very desirable color combination, and at NO RESERVE. Highest bidder gets it. Vehicle and titlewill not be released until all funds have cleared owners bank.Upon end of auction a$200 deposit via paypal is required within 24 hours. Keep in mind it's an older restoration, nd it is a daily driver not a Jackson-Barret trailer queen. That part is up to you. Concourse cars go for $70,000.If you don't like it when you pick it up you will have a complete refund no questions asked. Please allow photos time to load and scroll down to look at the photos and feel free to ask questions. I'll try and answer them as soon as possible up until the last 24 hours of auction ending time. Thanks for looking and good luck. UPDATE: JUST GOT THE ORIGINAL CARB,EXTRA WIRE WHEEL SPARE RIM AND 2 LONG THIN EXTERIOR CHROME PIECES. VERY NICE NO PITTING. I'LL TRY AND POST MORE PICS.
