Here is a real throwback to the 70's! I am the 2nd owner of this Pinto which has just been pulled from long term warehouse storage. Last licensed for the road in 1986. The Pinto starts,shifts, uns and stops but will need proper recommissioning for the road. Needs exhaust replacement and fuel system cleaned. New fuel pump comes with car ready to install if not already done by time auction ends. Tires are original factory issue on the factory optional Sport rims - so while rims are in great shape and the tires have lots of tread, hey will need to be replaced simply due to age. Car was repainted decades ago in the original color. Chrome and stainless trim in nice shape. Missing trim on one side of windshield. The passenger window was broken, ut the replacement glass will come with the car. The side trim is missing the green vinyl insert on the last section on the passenger side behind the rear wheel - see photos.
Interior is quite stylish in green plaid! Green vinyl is in great shape. Carpets show color fading. Wipers, orn, ights and signals all work fine. Rear defog in hatch glass works fine. I have attached lots of photos to show condition. Haven't seen many Pintos in such solid shape in years.
The original owner was an amazing individual with many vintage motorcycles, utomobiles and aircraft in his history. To give the Pinto a little bit more spunk, e replaced the original 4 cylinder engine with the 2.8l V6 at some point early in its life. It is nicely mated to the 4 speed manual transmission.
Original manual and literature that came with the car at time of sale new from the Ford dealer is included.
As this is a 40 year old vehicle, o warranty is express or implied. You are more than welcome to inspect in person. The car is not currently licensed or insured for the road, o you will need to arrange transport.

There are any number of companies that do this all the time if you don't want to pick it up yourself.
