Typical questions:
1. What race was it being built for? …. I was building the car for the 2016 Budapest Bamako Rally which is the largest amateur rally in the world. It is 6500miles long from central Europe to western Africa. It is a mix of road and sand trails, hat’s why I chose the same-sized all-terrain tire. And, wanted to build a T-bucket since it’s amazingly light and wouldn’t sink in the sand. But I couldn’t raise enough money.
2. Do you have receipts for the motor and trans? … Yes, nd will give them to you. Motor built by Performance Machine in Thrall Tx in Sept 2015, nd trans built by Badass Transmission in Apr 2015. Both companies stand behind their work.
3. Who built the chassis? … Chassis built by Spirit Industries in Arkansas. They are one of the biggest kit car manufacturers. Chassis is jig welded and has been proven for years. Everything chassis related is supplied by them making for an extremely reliable setup.
4. Do you have any car building experience? … Yes, ’ve been building and modifying cars for 20years and owned a well known hotrod shop in central Texas. I’ve decided to get out of the car business.
5. Why choose a V6 over a V8? … V8s may sound nice when parked in a garage or driven 5 miles to the local car show, ut T-buckets are so small and light that a V6 has PLENTY of power for a 1500-1800lbs vehicle and would be easy to control and very fuel efficient for long trips. V6 will not overheat. And with proper choice of exhaust it can be silent or loud and very throaty.
