Description
On offer here is what has to be the nicest Model T Roadster currently on the market. This particular example was drug out of a barn in Missouri in remarkable, riginal condition and was restored by its last loving owner. One would be hard pressed to find a better sorted, ore original Model T anywhere. This T is a factory roadster with what is believed to be an all original, ll steel body. There is no evidence of prior rust repair on the car and there is also no evidence of filler in the body. This car is all steel and very straight which is indicative of a car which has been well preserved its entire life. The car does have its original, umbers matching motor which has the serial number stamped in it and clearly readable. This T also rides on original wood wheels which were just refinished by the Amish here in Kansas to a very high standard. They are absolutely gorgeous and wheels in this condition often bring big money on eBay by themselves! As far as mechanical condition, his roadster is about as good as it gets. The car runs beautifully and has just had all or its coils replaced to save the next owner the hassle of doing the job himself! The one mechanical modification which has been done is the battery has been relocated to the trunk. This makes the battery far more accessible for the owner. You are now set for many miles of pleasurable cruising or parading! The car also has a beautiful and clean underside with very little to no surface rust on the various components. Overall, he underside of this T is as honest and clean as the rest of the car is!As you can see in the photographs, he car also features a fantastic and very clean interior. For a little added flare, just installed a brand new, hrome ignition switch as well as a brand new Ford rubber floor mat. The original black ignition switch is still working and does come with the car if you would prefer the look of the black switch. The rest of the interior was so nice that really nothing else warranted replacing. The top is also in fantastic condition and the plastic window in the top is not fogged up like most examples you see on the market. The engine compartment on this Model T was only in need of a very quick detail but, verall, he engine compartment is so well sorted, lean, nd already detailed that it really didn't warrant any work to be done beyond a quick wipe down. It is ready to be shown locally or cruised all over town to the next owner's desire! One of the cleanest and most correct Model T engine compartments you will find. The gentleman who sold the car to me claimed that it was mostly original paint with the exception of the trunk lid. Frankly, do not know enough about these cars to tell you whether or not that is correct. I will say that the paint is lacquer as it should be but it is far better condition than nearly all the Model Ts which I see on the market. For that reason, would say that it has been repainted at some point. The paint on the car is simply too nice for me to comfortably claim that it is original despite the last owner's claims. Regardless, he paint is extremely nice for a Model T and better than the vast majority of Ts that I see floating around for sale. All thebright-workon this T is very nice with nomajorflaws. Also included with the car is a full set of the tools pictured. Each of the tools have the circular Ford logo stamped into them and they are believed to be the original tools to this Model T! It also comes with its original jack! Please note that the pictures show step plates on the running boards! These ARE NOT attached to the running boards, hey merely came with the car. I would be happy to mount them to the running boards at no charge if the next owner desires or we can leave them off of the car. I will leave that decision up to the next owner!Overall, he best way I can describe this car is to tell you that it is a very honest car. Plain and simple, f you want a nice, orted Model T which has never been chopped up and has always been cared for, his is certainly an example that should warrant your consideration. This beautiful roadster is being offered at an extremely low starting bid of $5,000 with NO RESERVE!Please feel free to reach out to me at 913.687.1668 if you have any additional questions or if you would like to arrange a showing of the vehicle in our Overland Park, S showroom! Please ask all questions before bidding and we welcome anyone interested in the car to come see it before bidding! If seeing the car in person is not possible before bidding, e will do our very best to accurately answer any questions for you before auction's end.
