Description

Selling my 1933 Ford steel body 5-Window coupe. If you are looking for aREAL hot rod/street rod, his is the car for you. This is a definite one-off car, OT a fiberglass repro with a crate motor. Has a clear antique Kansas title with 1933 VIN. This should make export to other countries possible. If outside USA please check your countries import / customs regulations on this vehicle .

I purchased this car in 1988 as a rolling body and frame. It had been chopped 2 ½ inches already.I have built the car in stages over the years, s most projects are. The current paint is about 11 years old but still shows well. The 392 hemi engine was finished in 2002 with the total mileage since the car/engine was built being just over 3,000 miles.

The car runs and drives great, t has a smooth idle around 750-800 rpm, et the 392 Hemi makes plenty of power. Haven't had it on a dyno but estimated hp around 750. The cooling system I designed keeps this engine running around 180 degrees, ven in the summer days when the temp reaches over 100 outside. The oil pressure holds 30 psi at idle hot and 70 psi at highway speed. See complete build specs below.It also comes with acustom California car cover .

I am selling the car because after building, riving and enjoying it for the last 25 years, am ready to look for something different.

Last picture showing 2001 Cargomate 7 x 14 enclosed car trailer that is included with auction at the starting bid price, f buyer wants it. Car fits perfectly in this trailer. I have used it many times to take the car to shows.

New 6.960” Nascar H-beam rods (used for destroked factory 426 Hemi racing)

Ross custom forged 7:1 flat top pistons with floating double lock wrist pins

Childs and Albert zero gap rings installed

BHJ sfi harmonic balancer

Crank magnafluxed and shot peened and turned 0.10/0.10

Clevite 77 bearings installed

Blower is 7.5% underdriven using Goodyear ½” pitch belt

15 gallon custom stainless trunk mounted tank with trunk access aircraft style filler

Mallory 140 series pump and return type regulator

Cooling System:

Custom 4-core vertical flow radiator

Aluminum big block Chevy Weiand water pump using custom made adaptors

Walker radiator shroud and engine driven flexalite fan

Each cylinder head returns coolant separately into the top of the radiator


Exhaust:

Complete custom exhaust system ceramic coated inside and out by Jet Hot Coatings

Custom fabricated over frame parallel headers with 2 ¼” primary tubes and 4” collectors

Removable turnouts that retain blanking discs that may be taken out for open header operation

All 3” oval Spintech dual pipes and mufflers

3 sections per side all coupled together with 4 bolt custom flanges

392 HEI/Vertex distributor and Taylor wires

Chrysler gear reduction starter

Engine mounts (2 front, on mid transmission adapter plate, on transmission crossmember)

All engine isolators are made from black polyurethane skateboard wheels 85A hardness

Narrowed big bearing Ford 9” housing

31 spline narrowed Greg Moser axles with Moroso studs
