Description

I am offering my 1971 BOSS 351 for sale. This car is extremely rare because it is all original. I purchased this car from my uncle's friend in Massachusetts back in October 2012. He was the original owner and purchased the car when he returned from Vietnam. The car was rarely used and had sat under a car cover, na garage, or over 10 years when I found it. This purchase was featured in the Rare Finds edition of the Mustang Monthly in the July 2013 edition. I have many other pictures of the car, ncluding on the day I bought it. Covered in dust, nd under the cover.

I had brought this car to the MCA show in April 2013 and had a few judges look at the car. I was told by 3 national judges to leave the car, s-is, nd do not paint or replace anything on it; just try to preserve it the best I can.

The car is in great condition, ith no body rust at all. It has all original body parts, heels, lass, arpet, umpers, ights, xhaust (which is rotting out), eadliner (which has a few mice holes), eats, ash, teering wheel (ring-blow), pare, ack, ill-bottle, ven the factory windshield wipers. The engine is all original with the Autolite carb, ipstick, park plug wires, A-50 air filter, istributor, ev limiter, verything. All lights and gauges work as they should. The car runs and drives, ut would need a good going thru if it is to be put on the road. I drive it around town a little.

The heater box is out of the car but I have the original and a replacement, s well as the heater core. I also have spare Autolite hoses, lamps, tc. I have many parts for this car, ncluding a sound deadener, ew carpet, ew front bumper, nd many smalls.

The downside of this original car is there is some surface rust on the door ledges and the wheels due to mice urine that went unnoticed by the owner while under the car cover. Also, nder the hood there was a mice nest for who knows how long on top of the air cleaner. The hood is rusted from underneath (not the top, t is unnoticed on the top), ust is on the air cleaner itself also. I was going to replace and repaint the hood, ut was told not to because it was the original hood. It may be able to be repaired.

Other than those couple issues, his car is great. I have 7 classics, ut I am honest with myself in saying I will not be pursuing the restore on this classic. I would like for someone to have it that really loves these cars, nd do the restore as it should, r keep it original. It really is a great car, nd is very much original. I see restored cars for sale and at shows, ut never an unrestored one. This car is located in South Louisiana. I welcome anyone who is interested to come look at the car. I know what I have, nd keep in mind, t is for sale; not on sale. I have a Marti Report, nd found a build sheet when I pulled out the carpet to clean it. Also, s stated, have many original parts the owner picked up early one for spares. I also have more pictures but was limited to 24 here on Ebay. Feel free to call me if you like at 337-789-6276.
