I have owned this great looking Fairlane since 1999. It has been baking soda blasted down to bare metal. I repainted it with the Factory Color code "Y" and restored the interior with remanufactured interior.
This car has NO permanent mods done to it. The body is unmolested with all original sheet metal. The only repaired metal is under the heater core on the passenger floor pan from a previous owner from the heater core leaking and went unrepaired.
Here is the a short list of the stuff I have done beyond the paint and interior.
Installed power steering from a 64 donor Fairlane. The front end has been completey rebuilt and powder coated. (see picures)
Installed Air conditioning from another 64 donor car. The tagon the insideunit matches the build date on the door tag. The compressor under the hood is a knock off (very light weight) and all new lines. Since everything has been rebuilt, he system has only had 134A put in it. It blows air cold air.
The c4 transmission has been professionally rebuilt by a local Indianapolis shop that specializes in C4 rebuilds and has a shift kit installed.
The engine has been removed. This is the original block . The lower half of the block was rebuilt by a previous owner. The cylinder walls were correct specs, nd no ring grooves or ridges. For the top half I installed a mild cam, ew hydraulic lifters, prings, il pump, iming chain, nd water pump. I also purchased and installed a 4100 autolite carb, span>PertronixFlame-Thrower Electronic Distributor and hipo exhaust system. At the back, ou can hear the FlowMaster mufflers (If you listened to the you tube video).
From emails questions: The rear end is the Factory 8" 3.00 ratio stock. I always wanted to put in limited slip or locker, ut never did it. They only work I have done is to Remove the axles, ew seals and bearings.
In the pictures you will see Torque Thrust Rims and also the factory steel wheels. I am including both sets. I always take theTorq Thrusts off and store them in the basement during the winter. And my garage is climate controlled with heat and AC. I keep the heat above 50 in the winter and below 80 in the summer. This car is a show winner and I have won many awards with it. (Both local and at the Fairlane National Meets). This car is also a warm sunny day driver, The car came from the Carolina's and I have NEVER driven in in the snow.

You can hear the engine on the Youtube I uploaded https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIMdUg7BjMI
I will work with the buyer of this car on helping getting it shipped. I would also entertain putting it on a trailer and delivering it (within a reasonable distance)and reimbursement of expenses.
