Built from the ground up in 2000 at Orange County Rod and Custom. Built to be a very fast, oud, nd basic hotrod. The 400 ci small block chevy fed by four Holley carbs makes this hotrod move down the road very quickly. The car is loud, ast, ow and obnoxious, aking it an exhilerating vehicle to drive. I wanted the car to be no frills other than engine and induction, ut wanted a certain look and attitude. I laid out the flames and hand painted the skulls and the speed kills lettering. I built the car and drove it for a while, hen sold it to Metallica front man James Hetfeild. The car made an appearance in the Metallica documentary "Some Kind of Monster", scene where Hetfield gets a speeding ticket. I bought the car back from James and drove it around this summer. I've decided to move on to other projects, , decided to let it go to someone who will appreciate it as much as I do. I haven't changed anything cosmetically or mechanically since I got the car back from Hetfield, ther than changing spark plugs and oil. This is a hotrod built in the early 2000"s during the start of the rat rod movement. It was featured in several magazines and has documented ties to legendary car clubs the Shifters and the Beatniks.
