I bought this 1972 Gran Torino back in 2005 in North Carolina and drove it home to Tennessee and it has been sitting under this car port on concete ever since. The car has a North Carolina title cause i never registered it. The car ran and drove like new with hot heat and cold AC when i parked it. Every now and then i would go out and start it and let it run a little but it has been about 4 years now since i have started it but i bet if ya pour some gas in the carb to prime it with it will still fire right up.As you can see from the pics some rain and snow blows in on it and and the top is rusting around the back glass where the torn vinyl top has held the moisture in and it has some rust in the lower quarter panels are starting to rust. I have tried to show the rust in the pics the best i can. Ebay will only let me post 24 pictures and i hate that cause i took 33 pictures so im just using the ones that i think are most important. It is a 72 model that is a surviver and never been restored or even painted.The car is all factory from the bumper jack still in the trunk and looks like it has never been used to the vinyl top which is getting in sad shape now.The odometer is showing 56018 and by the looks of the seats and gas and break pedals i think thats all the miles the car has on it.It has a 351 Cleavland Motor and Automatic Trans. I took a look at it the other day and realized that i am just letting this classic car sit and rust so i have made my mind up to sell it to someone that will hopefully restore it as i have to many other projects going right now for me to get to it anytime soon.
