Description

Up for sale is a 1929 hi-boy roadster that won the Good Guys Bill Burnham Memorial Award at the West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton, A. It has approximately 2500 miles since the build was completed. Asking price is $45,000.00 obo. This car will only be for sale as long as the other car I want to buy does not sell. Listed below are some of the specs. On the build. Specs:
Body: Original Henry steel 1929 ford Model A roadster. Rootlieb hood and hood sides with Dan Fink 3-way opening latch system. Grille shell and insert is made by Vintiques.
Engine/Drive Train: Chevy 350 with an Edelbrock 2703 intake and an Edelbrock 600cfm electric choke carb. Edelbrock cam was also installed. Patriot tight tuck headers that were ceramic coated to keep the heat down.
Transmission: Chevy TH350 that was fully rebuilt.
Front Axle: Super bell 41, “ drop that is drilled and chromed. Durant mono leaf spring Original ’42-46 Lincoln 12’ drum Brakes that are attached to ’42-46 Ford Square back spindles. The brakes have new Shoes, heel cylinders and springs.
Rear Axle: Ford 8” rear end out of a ’67 mustang that has been completely rebuilt with 3.0 gearing. The Axle has been narrowed ½” on each side and Moser axles installed. Rear axle is hung by Aldan coil over shocks.
Wheels/Tires: Front- Wheels Vintiques genie 16x4 ½” with Coker Firestone 450/475 x 16 tires. Rear: Wheels Vintiques genie 16x6 with Coker Firestone 700 x 16 tires.
Exhaust: Custom 2” exhaust with Porter mufflers that exits at the rear.
Top: Original ’29 top irons that have been chopped 4” to match the windshield chop and Covered in steadfast material. Rear window is a ’33-’34 roadster/phaeton window.
Gauges: Stewart Warner Wings
Windshield: Speedway, hopped 4” inches and then chromed
Paint: PPG Delstar 9000 single stage black. PPG products were used in the entire painting process.
Extras: Vintage adjustable windshield stanchions that were chopped 4” and then chromed.
