When I got in to the classic car business 10 years ago I never thought that the first generation Ford Broncos would be a vehicle that I would be drawn to. Well, bout 4 years ago I bought my first one when a guy with a '65 Mustang Fastback offered me his as part of a package deal. After driving that Bronco I was hooked and evidently I was not alone as these Early Ford Broncos have become one of the hottest categories in the collector car market place. Since that time I have owned about 50, 967-1977 Ford Broncos. Some have been completely original, ncut and others have been cut, nd modified for a more aggressive and rugged look. This particular 1973 Bronco is an original uncut with a slight body lift allowing aslightly larger tire and giving it a great stance without losing the originality. I acquired this one from a gentleman in Missouri who owned it for the last 18 years. He bought it from a game warden in Missouri who he believed was the original owner. This Bronco has always been garage kept and it is obvious from the condition and originality lived a pampered life. The previous owner decided to treat the Bronco to a very nice cosmetic restorationsince the paint was starting to show its age and the motor was getting a little bit tired. He had the body repainted in its original Medium Lime Metallic color, eupholstered the seats, nd had the original 302 V8 and the automatic transmission rebuilt. This was done at 80,000 miles and the Bronco now has a little over 102,000 mileson it. This uncut original not only looks fantastic but it runs out great as well. The next lucky owner should only need to turn the key and enjoy!!I will do my best to provide enough large images, video of the Bronco starting up and running, nd an honest description so you can decide if this is the one you have been waiting for. As with all of my classics I have this Bronco listed on my website as well as several other national classic car sites. Therefore, f you decide this is the one for you feel free to call me to discuss how we can make that happen before the next car guy or gal scoops it up. Sit back and enjoy!
Thebody on this '73 Bronco Sport is in fantastic condition! When it was restored 10 years ago the previous owner told me there really was no rust to deal with. I have run a magnet all along the body, especially in the typical problem areas and it stuck everywhere. Everything was done by professionals and the Bronco was repainted in its original Medium Lime Metallic color which is really a timeless color and looks outstanding. Body panels are very straight and the body panel fit is excellent overall. Doors line up great as you can see in the pictures below. The Bronco has been driven about 22,000 miles since the restoration but still looks awesome. There are only a few minor flaws that I noticed including a small chip above the driversside rocker panel that was touched up, very small wave in the body down low on the drivers side door, nd a few very small bubbles under the paint on the drivers side rear taillight extension down low. I am only pointing these out because I like to be as honest as possible, owever most people would not notice any of these items and they do not in any way take away from the tremendous condition. This is aSport Model so it does have the added chrome trim around the windows and hardtop as well as the Sport Badges. There are a few small dings in the chrome body trim but overall the chrome all looks great. Minor pitting in the original driversside view mirror. The previous owner added a really nice chrome brush guard. A 4 point roll bar was also added and a brand new bikini top is included for some sunny day fun in this Bronco. I think the photo tour of the body below will show you just how nice this Bronco is:

Living in the Atlanta, A area I love enjoying these Bronco Classics with the hard top off but it is nice to know that this '73 does come with the original hard top that is also in fantastic condition. It is painted in the original wimbledon white color and has the chrome trim around the windows as part of the Sport package. The off white color makes for a stunning contrast against the Lime Metallic and I have to say this Bronco looks almost as good with the top on as it does with it off. The rear tailgate functions properly, nd again does not have any of the usual rust issues in this area that so many have. Take a look:
Complimenting the Medium Lime Green Metallic exterior is a beautiful parchment white factory interior. The original seats were recovered and are in close to new condition. Door panels and dash pad look great. An original rubber mat lines the bed area of this Bronco for easy cleaning when needed. As you will see the inner rear quarter panel area is still exposed and painted correctly in body color and looks as good as it did from the factory. Glass is all in great condition and windows roll up and down nicely. Seat belts for front and rear passengers and a nice aftermarket center console for holding drinks and other items. This is also a great spot to install an aftermarket stereo if desired. This Bronco still has the original AM in the dash. All of the gauges and lights appear to be functioning correctly although the speedometer seems like it may be reading a little fast. This Bronco has the dual tanks and the switch under the drivers seat to go from main to auxillary tank and the switch on the dash for the reading both work. The original vin plate with the original codes is still attached to the glove box door. Overall the interior looks amazing and is definitely ready for the show and cruise-in season if you want to show it off! Take a look inside:

Under the hood you will find the original 302 V8 that was rebuilt at 80,000 miles. The Bronco has just 102,000 miles on it and the motor runs really strong. As you will see the engine bay is nicely detailed with inner fenders painted in the correct body color. The original jack is still mounted on the drivers inner fender. This Bronco is a pleasure to driver and the power steering makes handling a breeze. Although it has manual drum brakes this Bronco stops great and brakes were always serviced and maintained. This Bronco has stock suspension but does have a slight body lift which helps to accommodate the taller tires and gives it a slightly more aggressive stance then stock. Very nice set of Michelin All Terrain white letter tires on all 4 corners mounted on a great set of American Racing Outlaw II Polished aluminum wheels. Matching spare wheel with brand new Goodyear All terrain tire. I have driven this Bronco on the highway at 65 mph and it rides great. It runs nice and cool with no overheating issues. The 4 wheel drives engages correctly as well. The stout 302 breathes out the stock manifolds and a brand new dual exhaust was run from the manifolds back to the rear tips that exit out under the rear fenders for a nice soft throaty tone. A brand newauxillary fuel tank was recently added. The floor pans are rock solid and appear to be original with no rust issues. There is a light undercoating to prevent any future issues and the undercarriage has been nicely detailed as well. After you look at the pics below make sure you watch the video to hear it start up and running as well.
