This convertible is a true factory GT. True 1965 factory GT convertibles are very rare and very desirable finds. The GT option is the most sought after factory option in today's marketplace. The rangoon red paint is in excellent condition. It carries a high gloss. The body is very straight. Body panel alignment is very nice. Exterior chrome and moldings are all in excellent condition. The white power top is also in excellent condition. Styled steel wheels, hite GT stripes, nd whitewall tires round out this GT's curb appeal features.The red standard interior, lthough not freshly restored, ooks very nice. There are no rips or tears. The red seats show some wear but are still in good condition. When this GT was last restored, he owner began the process of converting it to a pony interior. He had the correct door courtesy lights installed and the woodgrain instrument bezel and glove box door installed.The engine compartment is very clean. The engine starts easily, akes no unusual noises, nd does not smoke.This is a very solid car with no rust issues. It drives out very well. This Mustang does not run hot in summer traffic. She turns heads and gets comments every time we leave the garage.
