1965 Ford Galaxie 500 Restomod, e looked for a rust free straight car prior to our build and found this car that you in front of you. This Galaxie has been re bodied on to a 2004 Mercury Marauder that had 71000 miles on it, t is the 32 valve motor and runs extremely well, his car is excellent for anyone looking for the status of a vintage car but would like all of the reliability and conveniences of a new car. It took a little of one year to do this conversion and close to $60,000 dollars.
Exterior- Stock rust free body, ery straight, ood paint on it not new show quality paint there are a few chips and a some blisters on the rear quarter panel, ll the sheet metal is original and still retains the date code stamps as seen in some of the photos in the channel rails for both front and rear, umpers have been re plated, pgraded hid lights, nd American torques thrusts added to clear the front and rear ABS brakes.
Interior- The body was transplanted on the marauder so there is the Marauder complete dash, eats, enter console, nd steering wheel. All gauges, ights, ruise control, old AC, teering wheel controls and stereo are all working, ven form the steering wheel controls. Power seats for driver and passenger. Excellent headliner, tock original door panels.
Motor and Suspension- 2004 Mercury Maraduer 32v motor w matched automatic trans, our wheel ABS brakes and full modern 2004 Mercury suspension, uns outstanding, pleasure to drive, ots of torque, reat sound, nd incredible stopping performance.
