i have a 1972 ford f100 sport custom short wheel base pickup. its equipped with a mid 80s 302 along with a c6 transmission. this truck starts, rives, urns, tops like it did new. its very reliable and has made plenty 3 hour trips one way for camping/vacation etc. as of right now i drive this truck 24 miles a day to work and back. its very fun and turns heads everywhere we go! the truck is very solid with hardly any rust. only rust in the truck is on driver side rock and its only about the size of a dime. other than that one spot theres no rust. the bed had a roll in liner and gentleman before me ahd plastic liner added 7 years ago. cab mounts have zero rust, rame is just surface like any other old car or truck. floorboards do not have any rust what so ever. like i said this is one extremely solid truck that drives great. the truck starts with one push of the gas pedal in the mornings and you dont have to push pedal throughout the rest of the day. starts on a dime! no hassle! the truck shifts very smooth and doesnt have any vibrations during acceleration. its seen upwards of 95 to 100 mph before when i changed the driveshaft out for a new one and just made sure it wouldnt vibrate at any speed all lights, urn signals, arking and brake lights work. even the cigarette lighter works! only thing that doesnt work is the speedo only due to the exhaust shop laying cable over new exhaust when installed and hopefully by the time the truck sells i will either have the new cable installed or ill have it in the box waiting on new owner, ither way i will include the new speedo cable with purchase. heat works great truck is manual steering and manual brakes truck has had a tune up including plugs, lug wires, ist cap, otor button, ir filter, nd coolant flush along with oil change the truck was painted prior to me owning it and its a decent matte paint job, eople seem to love the color scheme. modifications done to the truck 302 out of mid 80s f150 aftermarket cam aftermarket holley carb aftermarket air intake brand new dual exhaust from manifolds back with flowmaster mufflers new drum brakes all the way around 15 inch aftermarket wheels with 75 percent tire tread new alternator new battery new belts and hoses through out new headliner new carpet kenwood cd player nice leather bench seat dash does have cracks like i said before i drive this truck 5 days a week 20+ miles a day and its been on multiple road trips. this is one awesome truck when it comes to reliability. i wouldnt be afraid to drive this truck on a 1500+ mile road trip
