This spectacular Hiboy Rod was created by nationally-acclaimed award-winning customizer, teve Frisbie of Steve's Auto Restorations in Portland, regon to emulate an early 50's rod.

Constructed of all-new components, teve and his staff blended the best of old and new to create a stunning ride. The project took 18 months from concept to completion. No corners were cut and everything was done to the highest level of quality without regard for cost.
Beginning with a completely new chassis, he chrome front suspension is traditional style with modern disc brakes. Rear suspension is also traditional. It has tranverse spring with ladder bars, nd a 9" Ford differential. The wheels are 16 inch "Gennies" with 1946 Ford hubcaps. Radial tires are narrow-style for a vintage look.
Real Steel body was hand-finished with a custom mixed candy apple red acrylic urethane paint. The paint is incredible. The interior is a custom tuck and roll caramel leather, ith the trunk completely finished as well. Interior also features leather-wrapped banjo steering wheel, estored vintage heater, nd vintage turn signals. The Haartz cloth canvas top is removable and was custom made to fold and fit inside the trunk. Please see photos.
The engine is a new Chevrolet 350 cubic inch, 95 horsepower, uel-injected V8. The transmission is a 4L60 automatic with overdrive. Stainless steel exhaust. Stainless steel fuel and brake lines. All stainless and chrome fasteners used thoughout the car. The engine (and car) has a total of 435 miles since completion. It is dialed-in and ready to show or go. Please see video of engine running.
The cost of the build was nearly $170,000.00. All receipts are included, long with photos of the build in-progress.
