Rare and hard to find 1948 Ford Hearse. This car is a Siebert conversion and had the center section put in along with the frame stretched. Rear hatch modified to a full lift hatch. Body is solid with no visible rust holes. Frame and under carriage is solid. Paint is black paint and primer. The fenders and some other areas show typical dings, dimples and so on. The original flat head V8 purrs like a kitten with no noises or smoke. Engine converted to 12 volt system and has all the original parts to put back to 6 volt if need be. The radiator is very good and has an electric cooling fan. May old and original parts come with the car. The white wheel tires are very good. The park brake cable is broke but is all there. The drivers side floor section is unbolted to get at master cylinder. The 3 on the tree manual transmission works very well. I have driven this car down the road, but just moving it around at the lot seems very good, The front seat is very good but needs a good cleaning or recovering. previous owner started to put red cloth interior in it. The drivers side window is the only cracked window and we have a replace window. I am sure that there is a lot more to talk about, but this is the basics. I really suggest coming to see the Hearse in person. Also, I recommend transporting this vehicle.
