Description

Offered here is a 1987 Ford Bronco XLT. I am listing it for my son. He has the clear title in hand and can answer all your questions!
This is one of the nicest Broncos I have seen in this vintage and is a completely rust free truck! This belonged originally to a farming family for many years in Oregon and was used as the "go to town, go to church, grocery getter." I have also been told that the top has never even been removed - and I believe that to be true - it's REALLY a tight truck! My son is selling it because he is moving.
INTERIOR:
Air conditioning blows ICE COLD. Other features included with the XLT trim package are power windows that function properly, power locks work properly, tilt wheel, power steering, cruise control, and the stereo has been updated to a newer Kenwood CD player. The rear power window works PERFECTLY with both the dash switch and the back key (unlike most that are burned out)! All of the gauges - tachometer, fuel, voltage, speedometer, etc. - work properly and have no issues. All of the interior lights, gauge cluster, stereo etc. work as they should.
EXTERIOR:
Cosmetically, this truck is in excellent condition. The interior shows very little wear throughout. The carpet is in very nice shape and shows less than normal wear for this vehicle. It has no rips, stains, fading, etc., and is nice and soft. The seats and upholstery are in very nice condition as well with very little wear and are in great shape. The seat framing and cushion condition are fantastic and show very minimal wear. The console is in exceptional condition. The dash and plastic trim pieces are all in great shape. It had obviously been stored inside it's whole existence because the dash isn't sun damaged. The glass isall in good shape and free from any cracks, only minor pitting on windshield asto be expected on any used vehicle.

ENGINE & DRIVE:
This Broncohas the 5.0Liter 302 V8that runs very smooth and delivers nice power. It fires right up on acold start and runs very smooth. No weird sounds, smoke, or anything of that nature. It has an automatic transmission that shifts firm yet smooth, as it should. All gears shift well and perform flawlessly. The transfer case is a floor shift style thatshifts in/out properly and 4WD works as it should. The tires are brand new with less than 200 miles on them. While driving down the road there is no pull to one side or the other and no shimmy or vibration. It doesn't leak ANYTHING!
OVERALL:
The Bronco had been in Oregon almost all of its life where they do not saltthe roads. The undercarriage and chassis are in great rust free shape. The exterior of the body has no rust. The body and paint on this are superb for the age and is one of the straightest Broncos I have ever seen. Thereare some minor rock chips that have been touched up on the hood and fenders from being driven, very small and to be expected on just about anything that is not brand new. On the tailgate the original factory rub sticker is still in place where the tire rack swing rubber bushing touches the tailgate. It looks like a blemish in the pictures but is just the original protective film from the factory. Thefelt stripsaround the windows show a little age and are cracking some. The other flaw is a bb sized dimple on the tailgate aluminum trim piece that depending on the angle goes almost unnoticed! (You can cover the blemish with your fingertip.)
