Description

Talk about a HUGE bang for the buck!

‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is happy to offer you this beautiful 1966 Shelby Cobra Replica finished in a gorgeous Burgundy Metallic w/ Gold stripe wrapped around a Tan vinyl interior. B&B Engineering in Connecticut manufactured the fiberglass body, and the build was completed in 2008. It was then sold & registered in California, so customers on the West Coast will have no problems, as the smog plaque is still present. With only a little over 9K miles, she is still in great condition throughout w/ only minor signs of wear, rock chips, etc. The paint is still brilliant and shines like new! The X-Frame, coil over suspension & 4-Wheel Disc Brakes ensure a steady comfortable ride, and one that will stop when you need it to!

an original 1967 Ford FE 427ci Side-Oiler motor (Code C7AE-A) producing close to 500hp, linked to a Ford Top Loader 4-Speed transmission w/ hydraulic clutch, which feeds power to the Ford 9” Posi rear axle, this little Cobra will scare you to death! She is an absolute BLAST to drive but you have to respect all of that power. The power-to-weight ratio of a 2000 pound body w/ a 500 horsepower motor, well let’s just say it’s scary! Even with all of those horses, she stays nice & cool @ 180 degrees in the hot desert heat, due to the custom aluminum radiator w/ thermostat-controlled fan. The ceramic-coated exhaust headers sound incredible, w/ a low throaty tone that you can hear coming from down the street.

The original owner was 6’ 3” tall and decided on custom 2-Stage foam cushions & an integral gel pack for driving comfort, while the driver seat is fully adjustable. All of the Auto Meter gauges work perfectly, as do all of the lights, blinkers, etc. Included is a cockpit cover that snaps into place, as well as a Bimini top that has never been used. The trunk is finished in matching carpeting & painted throughout. This Cobra was very easy to photograph as it sits just right, w/ a perfect stance. She sits on American Racing Wheels wrapped w/ beefy BF Goodrich tires, which look outstanding! Currently registered in the state of Utah as a 1966 so insurance will be no problem, she is ready to roll w/ fresh motor oil, filters, transmission & rear end fluids! Again, this little Cobra is a huge bang for the buck and is guaranteed to leave a huge smile on your face after taking her for a spin!

She’s pretty enough to win a First Place trophy, yet fast enough to leave the competition in the dust at your local drag strip! Don’t hesitate because she will not last long!
