Description

Hello and thanks for stopping to check out our 1948 Ford F2 ¾-Ton Truck! This truck has the following equipment:

43,878 MILES

3.9L 8-Cylinder Engine

4-Speed Manual Transmission

Heavy-Duty Rear Suspension

Jensen AM/FM/Cassette Stereo

This truck is an F2, ¾-ton with a beefed-up rear suspension. It starts, runs, and drives. It was last owned by an older couple that resided in Lorain County. About 20 years ago, they moved the truck down to their property in Kentucky, where it was used for moving things around on their land. When the older man passed away, the truck was brought back to this area by the family. They have been selling some of their parents’ belongings, and I bought it from them. Here is what I can tell you about the truck. The body is solid for its age and the underside is in good shape, as you can see in the pictures. I don't know how muchbody work was donebut the paint looks good. All of the bed lumber is in very good shape and solid. The side rails areremovable. Inside, the seat and headliner were redone at some point and are in great condition. It has a working radio in it, as indicated above. The lights are working on the truck. I’m not sure about the gauges and their accuracy. Some work and some don’t. While the title indicates that the miles are actual, the speedometer and odometer are not functioning. Mechanically, the brakes work and the tires are in decent shape. The muffler and pipes are newer and in good shape, as well. While it is drivable, it would be strongly recommended that it be gone over from front to back before taking it out on the road anywhere. We ask that all interested bidders come out and see it in person, if possible. You really need to see it to appreciate it! Just give us a call to set up an appointment!
