Description

For sale is a extremely clean 1982 F-150. The truck is not restored, it is a survivor. The truck has the uncommon XLT 2 tone package. As you can see, the interior and exterior is in unbelievable condition given the age of the vehicle. The truck is 4x4 and the manual lock out hubs engage with ease and the transfer case shifts smoothly. The truck was undercoated a few times throughout its life and not driven in winter, leaving the undercarriage virtually spotless. I am the second owner of the truck. The original owner was a mechanic and kept a maintenance log regarding all the work performed on the truck. The truck has approximately 108,500 ACTUAL DOCUMENTED MILES. All the original books and documents are included with the truck. Extensive maintenance was recently performed on the truck:
-new double roller timing chain and gears installed less than 500 miles ago. New front seals were installed at that time and the timing chain cover was painted ford blue.
-new carburetor was installed and factory tuned less than 500 miles ago.
-differentials were drained and refilled less than 500 miles ago.
-transmission fluid was drained NOT FLUSHED and refilled along with a new filter installed.
- brand new white wall tires were installed less than 500 miles ago.
- an OEM ford transmission shift vacuum modulator was installed and adjusted less than 500 miles ago.
-new spark plugs, wires, and distributor approximately 1000 miles ago or less.
There are a few touch up areas in the bed from hauling small items, the hood has a few very small dimples that could be popped out if needed. The rear bumper has been touched up with silver paint where the chrome plating was peeling, it could stand to be chromed.
This truck gets compliments wherever it goes and runs and drives very well. You will not be disappointed and I highly doubt that you could find a cleaner original F-150.
