Very nice Thunderbird. I bought this in 2013 and have stored it in a heated garage. I have not put many miles on it and need the space for an other car so its up for auction.
I purchased this in a small central Ohio town from a used car lot. The local dealer told me it was the towns dentists car and he purchased it from the dentists daughter. I had to put a new carburetor on and had the brakes replaced and a new battery. Other than that, I've done nothing to the T-Bird. I've only put on about 500 miles and the 55,970 miles are original.
The T-Bird runs great and cruises down the freeway with no problems. It drives like a new car. It is well equipped.
The air conditioning works. The lighter works and it was a non smokers car. The power antennae works. The drivers seat is a 6 way power seat . It works but needs to be checked, it grinds going forward / backwards but the 4 tilts all work. Front passenger seat is not power. Front seat is 60/40. The interior is in excellent condition.3 issues: Previous owner cut both shoulder straps off on the front seatbelts. The lap belts are in place. Second item is the clock, it does not work. The last item is the brake light. It will not go off and I have had 3 different mechanics look at it. Brakes all work properly including the parking brake. Cruise control and horn both work. Wipers and heat work. It has a CB antennae in the trunk but I do not know if there wasa radioinstalled for it. There is not one in the car

The engine compartment is very clean and the only item is the duct tape used to repair the flex tube on the air cleaner. Battery is 2 years old and has no issues
The exterior is solid. One minor blemish on the drivers front fender. It should show in the pictures. Passenger mirror has a little pitting. Bumpers look like new! Slight fading on the hood but nothing very noticeable. I had it cleaned up at a local body shop and they repainted the moldings between the bumper and the body. Other than that they told me it is original paint. Michelin tires have 50-60% left and with the limited driving I have done, provide a very smooth ride. Nice T-Bird spoke hubcaps.
The vinyl top has dried and cracked over the years. It looks ok but should be replaced or restored if possible.
T-bird is available for inspection/test ride... Sold as is with a reasonable reserve. I have bought and sold on E-bay for years and have 100% positive feedback so bid with confidence. I will ask questions as quick as possible and will post a link to photobucket with additional pics.
