Here is a 31 Model A Ford Sport Coupe just out of long term barn storage on a local farm. The car has an old original restoration that is starting to show its age. After pulling out of storage I cleaned the fuel system, flushed out the radiator and motor, changed the oil, put a battery in it and it started right up. The motor runs real nice with no noises, misses, smoking, or overheating. The car runs and drives nicely down the road with no apparent issues. The transmission shifts as it should and the clutch operates smoothly with no slipping or chatter. The brakes stop the car with no pulling or noises. The body on the car is all steel and does not appear to have had any major work done to it at the time it was restored, no rust repair or major damage. It does now however have rust through at the bottom of the cowl area in front of the doors on each side as shown in the pictures. There is no rust anywhere else on the car. The paint on the car is old with minor scratches here and there mostly on the fenders. The doors and windows open and close nice. The tailights work but the headlights do not for some reason. I havent really checked in to why they dont. The top has some staining especially on the inside and has pulled out from under the tack strip in the very front above the windshield as shown in the pics. It looks like it could be stretched back and refastened. The two rear tires and tubes are new, the fronts are Wards Riversides put on years ago. The interior is mohair and is very nice and damage free. The rumble seat is naugahyde and is also in excellent condition. The undercarriage chassis etc all looks nice, origina, and rust and damage free. I dont know what else to say about it except this car can be driven and enjoyed today as it is or it would be a simple redo to show condition. I do not know a lot about Model As so I may have missed something so please ask questions. The car has a clear Michigan title. I am willing to store up to 30 days once paid for and can help load.
