Description

Up for auction is a rust free 1948 Ford F1 Panel Delivery. Obviously, it is Special.

This vehicle was part of a southern collection brought to Michigan fifteen plus years ago that has been garage kept since. A few time each summer they would be started and driven to keep things cleaned out.

This delivery was restored in the mid 70’s. I know the shag carpeting was a dead giveaway. The lava lamp had a short so we pulled it out so it would not drain the battery. Under the carpeting is a solid wood floor. The bumpers are from a 1949 Plymouth.

The 350 V-8 is from the late 60’s but still runs great. Starts right up with no smoke at all. The 350 turbo transmission shifts very smoothly. It has a GM 10 bolt rear end. Also has a GM sub frame up front. Comes with an Edelbrock intake with a Holley carburetor. It has dual exhaust.

The steering column is also GM with tilt and telescopic adjustment.

The custom made visor is stainless and fits really well.
