Description

Decided to put my Fairlane up for sale. I should finish it, there’s not that much more work to do but I’ve just lost interest. It’s a South Carolina S-code 4 speed car, pretty solid. Floors and a bit of the trunk have been patched by someone who doesn't do the greatest work, and there are some bubbles showing in the bottom of the passenger side fender. Looks like there is some bondo there in that area.I've just noticed after washing the car the drivers side cowl leaks into the floorboard. Overall paint looks pretty good though, nice driver quality, about 5 years old. There are a few flaws here and there. Pretty nice trim and new chrome bumpers, with new polished torque thrusts and new BFG tires. Original 14 inch styled wheels will go with the car.
Newly rebuilt motor is a good sounding fresh 0.030 428 with CJ heads, carb and exhaust manifolds, no exhaust pipeson it yet. Cam is a 280H, with an Edelbrock performer RPM intake and original 735 cfm Holley carb.I have only driven it around the block a couple times. Trans and clutch linkages need a bit of final adjustment. Has a close ratio small shaft toploader and Hurst shifter, with the original Z bell housing and 4.11 trac-lok, manual steering.

Car needs new weatherstripping.
Original manual drum brakes need work or upgrade. I’ve installed new dash cap, door panels and carpet. I havenew rear seat side panels.Seats and headliner are pretty good but the interior needs finish work. Console is included. No sill plates or sun visors installed but are included.Previous owner has butchered the wiring in the car, but lights and gauges work. Interior lights, radioand windshield wipers do not work.
Very good easy project to finish if you have the time. Located in south central Ky zip 42503. U.S. bidders only please, and no international shipping.$1500 deposit via paypal due at the end of the auction, and balance to be paid when car is picked up. Any cashier's checks must have cleared before I will release the car. Please ask questions before bidding including any additional picture requests. I encourage anyone interested to inspect the car prior to bidding. Thanks and good luck.
