Description
HISTORY - bought new in Sacramento CA, lived in Chico CA up till 2011 when the elderly couple passed, the car was willed to the grand son in Dixon CA where i bought it a 2 years ago. the car is the best runnig old car i have ever owned. the car was always maintained thru the Ford dealer in Chico but unfortunately alot of the records were lost in the estate. the car has 75,200 actual miles. over the last 2 years i put wheels and tires on it, reupholstered the front and back seats to original OEM factory Torino specs, the carpet and headliner are very good. this car has never been detailed and you can tell by the engine compartment how well it was taken care of. the car has 1 dent in the passenger side door, 1 very small dent on the front passenger side fender extension, and 1 crack in dashboard about 4 to 5 inches, and the car will need a new vinyl top in the next couple years. this car is solid and like i said it is an awsome running car, starts right up, drives excellent and stops great, it shifts great and still has a lot of get up and go, steering is tight, it does not smoke or burn oil. i did a compression check and all cylinders are within 10 pounds. it is missing the Torino logo emblem on the deck lid and the factory radio antenna. the gas gauge does not work and the A/C needs to be recharged. the dual exhaust has about 4 years on it and sounds very healthy but not load, all the chrome and trim is flawless except the after market piece of trim to pertect the car from parking lot dings where the dent is on the door. the trunk and floor pans are solid also. i had an estimate done and a new vinyl top and fixing the dent could cost about $1500 at the most. if you have any questions contact me with your phone number and ill call you. if i did the top and the dent i would ask another $2,000 PS i also have a perfect GT hood. if you want the hood loose keeping the original hood on the car it will be $500 extra and you will have to work that out with your shipper. if you want me to exchange the hoods it will cost an extra $650, if you want the hood painted it will cost a total of 1,150.00 extra. thank you for looking
