Description
Please request more pics or info there is something else you want to know. Feel free to call with any questions 828-215-1234This is a great looking truck even with the makeshift paint job. rust. and dents. This combination of engine. drivetrain. and body style is getting hard to find at a fair price. Vehicle Info:1977 Custom f150 460 Engine4WD4 speed manual floor shift trannyLong BedCondition:Mechanically this truck is pretty solid. We only use to pick up things around town. but it always starts with no problems. It shifts well. 4WD works fine. tons of power. It could be used as a daily driver if you could afford the gas. It does have some things that should be addressed. The power steering pump is weak. so at low rpm there is little to no power assist. The steering gear box has some play in it. and the steering coupler is worn. not uncommon for a 37 year old truck. The rest of the steering system is solid. The parking brake pedal is bent and not functioning correctly. Other minor issues: The ground wire for the steering column is missing. so the horn does not work. I used a jumper wire to ground the steering column and the horn works normally. The radio has no fuse; I used it for something else and never replaced it. Only has one speaker. and it's pretty pathetic. You will need new speakers if you care about that sort of thing. There is a coolant leak at the timing cover. and I believe one at one of the radiator hoses. This truck has never overheated though. I just keep an eye on the coolant level and add as needed. The valve covers leak. I'm not aware of any other oil leaks. I cleaned the lower end of the motor to monitor any other oil leaks. and so far have only seen the valve covers leaking. The rear differential leaks (minor). There is a gas leak at the fuel filler hose. but only if the fuel level is over 3/4 tank. The passenger side interior door handle does not work from the inside. Driver side window crank missing. Both regulators are good though. There is also no key for the door lock cylinders. So I never lock the doors. The rear brake shoes/hardware/wheel cylinders/drums just replaced. All rusted through brake lines replaced. Brake master cylinder replaced. Booster relatively new. ALL lights working. wipers working. heater worksI can't think of any thing else. so please ask questions!!
