Description

1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback

No Reserve Auction. Car will be sold to the highest Bidder

For Sale is my 1972 Ford Mustang

Mach 1 Fastback

VIN # 2F05H125778

I purchased this car 2 months ago. It was sitting for 10 years. I drained and replaced all the fluids, put a new battery in, and it starts right up.

I replaced the master cylinder and blead the brakes. Car now has working breaks.

There is work needed. Carb needs work and adjustment. The car starts and runs but does die when you put into gear. Appears to need carb adjustment and vacuum addressed.

This is a project. Can be a driver or restore if you like.

Engine – Car was originally a 351. Looks like there is a 429 in there now. Odometer reads 30,960. It is probably 130,960

Body – Has had older repairs and poorly repainted. Car was originally yellow, not it is red.

Interior – Seats have rips under the seat covers. Looks like everything is there.

Car has no title. In NY cars prior to 1976 have a transferable registration. The transferable registration for this car was lost. Sold with bill of sale only. The car has not been registered in over 10 years. I have bills of sale from prior owner to me and will provide a bill of sale to the next owner.

I am located in East Patchogue, NY. Car will need to be towed. I will assist with loading on pickup. Buyer must make their own arrangements for pickup or shipping.

I couple have people have emailed me saying that the engine is a 351C. From the research that I did it looked to me like a 429. If it is a 351c maybe it is a matching numbers original engine? I am not sure but wanted to add any information I received
