This is one extremely rare NO RESERVE barn find! A Texas rust free 1959 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Longbed Factory 4x4 Pickup. 1959 was the first year Ford offered 4x4 from the factory! On top of the super straight body and fantastic patina this truck sports a Cummins 4BT Turbo Diesel and manual 4-speed transmission. The swap was completed years ago and has been proven extremely reliable. The Cummins motor runs great, starts with ease and has tons of power with a stage 1 30hp fuel pin and 3200rpm gov spring. Engine stays cool, Transmission shifts smooth, 4wd works, steering is tight, Brakes stop well, the truck is fairly easy to drive. Coolant temp, Boost, Volt, and fuel gauges work. Oil pressure gauge sometimes gets stuck and the speedo cable needs to be extended to work. The F100 was painted decades ago and stored in a barn since, the body has very little rust for its age. Cab floor, fenders, doors and bed floor look great. No major bondo or rott, what you see is what you get with this truck. The interior has received a recent updating with a new floor mat, seat cover, shift knobs and door weather stripping. Front bumper was extended and modern winch was just installed, someone stole the vintage Warn Winch we had for it. This rig is ready for its next caretaker, don't miss your chance to own such a cool classic pickup.
