Description

This truck has a current Iowa title/registration. Insured, and runs and drives. It is very very clean for its age, but not 100% rust free.It has either a 292 or 312 Y Block. I bought it from the 2nd owner. He parked it inside his garage in 1993, and had been there till I purchased it. The truck and drive train is original except the motor and seat.Stock, it came with a 223 strait 6, but was changed by the previous owner.Has a 4 speed on the floor, and works great.I brought it home, pulled the gas tank and front and rear windows. I replaced the front tires, fuel pump, coil, plugs wires, oil, battery, had carb and starter rebuilt. It now starts and runs great. Exhaust is loud. I do drive it to work occasionally.Has no front or rear windshield, but i have a new front window and weatherstrip/seal that do come with the truck. Will need a new back one.The fuel tank and fill neck come with, but will need replaced, tank was rotted. I am using a boat gas tank sitting in the box for now.The wood in the bed is rotten. The heat and wipers don't work, they are vacuum style. Everything else does, including all lights and turn signals. The cab and interior are very rust free except the cab corner that the fuel fill neck goes in.The color is literally just spray paint black to try and keep the rust off.The rear end leaks, and transmission is coated in grease/oil.The tailgate and front right fender are dented. Probably will need a new tailgate to restore. Passenger side hood hinge and hood on that side are rusted through also. But hood opens and shuts as it should with a little help. Please message me for any questions or specific pics.Im not trying to hide anything. What you see is what you get. Truck is not perfect, but will make a great restoration project for someone that has more time money and space than I do. I don't want this truck to sit outside this winter, so it will need a new home.Like I said, I do drive this, and it starts right up, but I wouldn't drive it out of town without more thorough restoration work.
