For sale in our Chicago showroom is a very fun 1966 Ford Cobra replica made by Factory Five racing. The fine folks at Factory Five created these kits so the average hard-working person can fulfill a dream of owning a Cobra without the million dollar price tag and this one will turn just as many heads. The original Cobras were a hybrid American Sports car known as "The Corvette Killer" which consisted of a British body with an American power train. These cars became an iconic staple in racing and have been often touted as being one of the most beautifully designed cars of all time. It's hard not to fall in love with the raised and rounded fenders, wide stance, open grill and the absence of any gaudy chrome trim.
This fine example is a Factory Five kit that is titled as a 1966 and features a 5.0 Liter H.O. V8 that delivers plenty of power and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This car would make for a fun driver around town and because of the modern power train the cost of maintenance and ownership would be minimal. It is easy to imagine driving this beauty to your local cruise night or car show or heading out on the open road with the sun shining on your face.
Options on this classic sports car include ARE aluminum wheels, RCI racing harnesses, black bucket seats and wood grain steering wheel with the Cobra logo proudly displayed. Located in our Chicago showroom, this restored 1966 Ford Cobra can be seen including an HD video and pictures at .
