The interior is virtually flawless and is equipped with all the right options with only 39,172 miles. You can't go wrong with this fabulous vehicle!
As one of the last 1967 Shelby Mustangs produced at Shelby American’s Los Angeles Airport assembly facility, this GT350 survives today with only 39,172 miles. Documented in the “Shelby Registry: 1965-67,” Shelby serial No. 67200F7A03000 was completed on July 21, 1967, and immediately shipped to Larson Ford in White Plains, New York. A three-year rotisserie restoration was completed in 2010. The Lime Gold Shelby is equipped with the Cobra version of the 289 High Performance V-8, 4-speed transmission, in-board driving lights, black interior, power steering and brakes, optional 10-spoke aluminum wheels with Speedway 350 tires and a full-size spare in the trunk. While previous 1965-66 Shelby GT350s looked very similar to standard Mustang fastbacks, Shelby American took advantage of the 1967 Mustang’s restyled sheet metal to make its GT350s and GT500s much more distinctive with the use of fiberglass for the extended nose, scooped hood, two pairs of side scoops, decklid with duck-tail spoiler, and rear panel with wide, horizontal Cougar tail lights. The interior was Deluxe Mustang with Shelby’s first-time use of a functional roll bar along with an underdash pod for Stewart-Warner oil pressure and ammeter gauges. For improved handling, the 1967 Shelbys started life at Ford’s San Jose, California, assembly line with the Mustang’s Competition Handling Package, which added heavy-duty springs, Gabriel adjustable shocks, a thicker front sway bar and 15-inch wheels. At Shelby American, the factory springs were upgraded to progressive-rate versions, while the solid-lifter 289 High Performance engine was modified for 306 HP with a Cobra high-rise aluminum intake topped by a Holley 715 CFM 4-barrel carburetor and open-element air cleaner. The Lime Gold Shelby GT350 comes with important documentation, including the original 8-pagebuild sheet, Deluxe Marti Report, copy of the original production order, photo documentation and ownership history as shown in the "Shelby Registry."
