I love this thing. This truck is so cool and runs very strong. Power Brakes. Power Steering and the Short Bed make this such an easy truck to drive. Strong 390 V8 with a 4 speed on the floor. Never use first gear as it is a "granny" gear but it shifts through all the gears just fine. Just had the Clutch and Pressure Plate replaced about 4 months ago. Also resurfaced the Flywheel so all is good. Engine was recently tuned up and runs awesome. Very strong motor. Edelbrock Intake and Carb. Upgraded coil and ignition pack. Speedometer and Odometer work. Add on Tach. Oil and Temp gauges. All work except temp gauge (truck never has overheated). Turn signals and wipers work. Upgraded Headlights shine brighter than stock. Brand new tail light lenses. Sunroof. Brand new Wheel Vintiques 62 Series Ford Style O. E. Wheels (15x8 front and 15x10 rear) and Tires (295/50/15 Rear and 235/60/15 Front). Wheels and Tires have less than 125 miles on them. Also added some Ford early 60 hubcaps to finish them off. Also have 4 locking lug nuts with key. Truck sits low and looks cool. Sounds cooler. Routed the exhaust just behind the cab through the be rocker panel. Looks awesome and everyone loves it. Idles just fine and definitely has a performance cam in it as it "lopes" awesome at idle. The 390 is a replacement at some point in it's life as the VIN shows it came with a 302. I am not sure how old the swap is. It does look like that maybe 20-30 years ago or so this Truck was treated to a restoration. Probably at one time this was a show truck as the paint is definitely not stock and there are just little touches throughout that make me think it was someones baby at one point. Today though. it is nothing like a show truck. a true Rat Rod or Shop Truck is today's look. There is rust all over but is very solid in the places that matter. The bed is definitely the worst with several areas of rusting through but some on the cab as well. Good thing is that the Cab Mounts that are notorious for rusting out are very solid and look great. Again. there is rust on the truck but I liked it and never repaired. I have sprayed some rust stop or paint on some of it just to keep it from advancing but again. I like the look so don't mind it. Again. look at the pics. I will send more pics upon request. Ebay only allows 24 but I have more. I also have a video of truck starting and idling. Starts with one twist of key. I love this truck and the only reason I am selling is that I picked up another with AC. I am getting old and love the AC so time to swap out rides. This truck is probably one of the coolest I have seen in a while. If I were the new owner. I would clear coat the entire truck and drive the heck out of it. It has a later model ford seat (with seat belts) in it so very comfortable. The power lumber support even works and it has a cupholder. Radio works. Heater works although I did add a heater Hose Cutoff valve to shut off water hitting the heater core in the summer. Helps a lot. Door locks work and I have both Ignition and Door Keys. Also. trucks parking brake does not work but it has it's own on a leash as seen in pics. Works great. Good luck bidding. Message me if you have any questions. Deposit of 500. 00 due within 24 hours of auction end. If you don't deposit in that time frame. I report you and relist. Full payment in 7 days. If you have less than 5 feedback ratings please reach out to me prior to bidding or I will cancel your bid. I live just north of Oklahoma City and if I were the new owner would have no problem flying in and driving the truck to wherever you live. I drive it on a 100 mile roundtrip errand often with zero problems. Gas Gauge works so no getting stranded. I will assist with loading if you have shipped or come pick up. Or. I will pick you up at Will Rogers airport in OKC so you can drive home in truck. Clear Oklahoma Title and the truck is tagged through 2015. This is a no reserve auction so starting price bid wins truck.
