Description

Here is a 1953 Ford Customline 4Dr sedan. The car is in fair/ restorable shape. It is NOT currently road worthy. but it does run well. I rebuilt the carburetor last year and the gas tank has non ethanol aviation gas in it (100 octane low lead). The brakes do not work and the right front brake is locked up so the wheel doesn't turn. It did yard drive prior to that wheel locking up. Car has been sitting for about a year and a half. The windshield wiper motor needs to be replaced. The previous owner removed the radio to get to the wiper motor. still have radio. The engine is clean and runs smoothly. When I bought the car 4 years ago I had the starter rebuilt. The seats have been recovered and are in fair usable condition. The carpet is something someone cut and put in there. All sill plates are there. Rocker panels are solid but have some surface rust starting. The headliner is original and stained as is the material on the rear deck under rear glass. The horn ring 50th anniversary is all intact. I believe that all exterior emblems and chrome are present. Chrome on grille and bumpers is rusty. Paint is peeling off the roof. Fenders have rust in the bottoms but not through. Some big scratches on RH door but I don't think its dented. Trunk is solid with no rust holes. Floors appear to be solid as well as body mounts and floor braces. There is rust on frame and undercarriage but it appears to be just surface from sitting. Doors are solid with surface rust on bottoms. no holes. I was told that the car was originally from Texas. I believe that because it is very solid. cars here in New England usually are gone or have been all patched up. I bought it from someone in Conneticut who claimed his father bought it in Texas. I installed 4 new tires when I bought it 4 years ago and have never driven it anywhere except around the yard. I have all new wheel cylinders for the brakes and a new master cylinder I think. just don't have any time to work on it. So before it sits here another year I want to sell it to someone who does have time to tinker with it. I DO NOT have a title. they are not required in NH for cars this old. Will be sold with a bill of sale. All sales final. Buyer must arrange their own shipping or you can pick it up yourself at my location. I have a tractor here and can assist in loading if needed. A five hundred dollar deposit is required within 24 hours of auction close. Payment in full must be received within 7 days of auction close via pay pal or cash upon pickup. United States Bidders only please! No overseas bidders! I will cancel bids from those with lots of negative feedback at my discretion.
