Description

This is an absolutely beautiful 5 liter . 5 speed manual hatchback LX Mustang . I have owned it for ten years . the previous owner was a 60 year old man . who purchased the car brand new in Mississippi and then moved to Georgia . so the car has NEVER seen any snow or salt . and as I'm sure you can see by the photos . is absolutely spotless underneath ! the previous owner told me it was repainted one time due to sun fading . to me . it looks fantastic . it shines beautifully . and I see no signs of any bodywork . ever ! it DOES HAVE two small dings ( dents ) like from a shopping cart or something . on the right rear just behind the door . I stopped by a shop that does paintless dent removal . and he told me he could remove them easily for $300 . he was over a month behind at the time . so I never took it back . to me . they aren't significant enough to be bothered by them . but I want everyone to know they are there . everything on the car works as it should . it has NEVER been modified in any way ! I am 51 years old . and I had two 5 litres in my younger years . and when I wanted another one . I was insistent on one that was unmolested. the car runs . drives . shifts . and brakes as perfectly as it should . the original R-12 AC works PERFECTLY ! the tires have less than 1. 00 miles on them . the exhaust system is 100% original . and you can still see the Ford logo on the mufflers . I replaced the radiator and the battery last year . it even had the original spark plugs . cap . rotor . etc. when I bought it . so I went ahead and gave it a complete tune up using all motorcraft parts . I am an ASE certified mechanic . and have owned my own shop for 21 years ! I did replace the front pads and rotors and installed drilled rotors . just because I like the way they look . the steering and suspension are perfect . I replaced the right outer tie rod last year with a MOOG and had it aligned . I DO have the original wheels that go with the car if you want them . I think the car had around 69K miles when I bought it . so . as you can see . I don't drive it much . the only reason I am selling it is because I just don't have a lot of interest in car shows . etc. anymore . I honestly don't think anyone who purchased this car could find much fault with it . I'm sure there aren't many around this clean and un molested anymore . I've always enjoyed Mustangs . I also own a 2008 BULLITT with only 12K on it . so I figure I'll keep it for now . since it's hard for me to make time to enjoy them . as far as the interior is concerned . as you can see by the pics . it is spotless ! quite simply . you could jump in this car . and drive anywhere you want to without hesitation ! I am an honest man . and I have NO desire to misrepresent ANYTHING ! as such . your questions are welcomed ! the winning bidder will surely be getting a beautiful vehicle ! my favorite part is the spotless condition of the undercarriage ! being a mechanic here in Ohio . we see 6 and 7 year old vehicles everyday that are totally destroyed underneath ! GOOD LUCK ! I WELCOME YOUR QUESTIONS ! AND HAPPY BIDDING !
