Description

Up for sale is my 1969 Ford F-250 long bed, 2WD. This truck was a strong runner for three years until the engine had an interior water jacket fail. Truck is 90% rust free. Engine is a 5.9l with stock Autolite 2BBL. I have rebuilt carb, heads (were rebuilt with steel valve seats), water pump, intake and exhaust manifolds, covers, newer alternator, newer distributor, wires, aftermarket air canister. Damaged block is still in truck mated to an excellent 4 spd. manual with compound low. Brakes are all oversize drum and have been completely rebuilt with new brake master and work beautifully. Wheels have all new seals and repacked bearings. Truck comes with custom headache rack. Interior has newer carpet kit and custom headliner, new door hardware and glove box. All gauges work, all lights work. Truck has electric fuel pump and two tanks (second tank was disabled but all parts are there). New radiator. Original Ford towing mirrors (not shown). Also has custom, dual, all aluminum exhaust off stock manifolds. This is an eight foot bed in really good condition. The truck needs bodywork, primarily on the passenger side, and front glass (crack, not bad); just never got to it. Tires are BF Goodrich that aren't showing any wear yet. This was a daily driver and work truck for three years. With an engine rebuild it can go back to that or become a pretty straightforward restoration project, which was my goal. I'm asking enough to get some of my money back on this truck, and I hate to see her go but other things demand my attention and resources now. Title is clear. Vehicle is listed locally. What I've done for the truck:Rebuilt brakes including new MC (three years ago)New door hardwareNew carpet kitCustom headlinerRebuilt distributor and water pump (2 years ago)Rebuilt starterRebuilt OEM Autolite 2BBL carb (4 years ago) ADDED NEW PHOTO OF PASSENGER SIDE (this was taken while rebuilding the brakes; small dents on "bump" and a dent on door--looks like someone hooked the tow mirror while parking).
