1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. I have owned this car for several years, and it has been my summer driver, weather permitting, for many trouble free miles! I purchased the car in Boise, Idaho where it belonged to an older gentleman who bought it new. He kept the car in good shape, and being from Idaho I liked it because it was dry and rust free.Brakes- redone two years ago, 4000 miles ago. Drums, shoes, and cylinders. Stops great.Paint- Driver quality, a 10 footer that's solid and worry free, you can drive it and park it anywhere without being paranoid.Chrome- Ok. Good Interior chrome and trim. all outside trim clean and intact, bumpers straight with a couple spots where chrome has flaked.Tires: 65% tread remaining on matched set of 4. They still look fine with no weather checking.Engine: Rebuilt top to bottom when I purchased it. Old guy was a mechanic and I think he did it because he was retired and enjoyed it. Runs great and doesn't burn oil.Trunk: Dry as a bone. Floors/Rockers-solid all the way around. No rust. There is one spot under the rear driver's wheel well with a bubble smaller than a dime. It looks like a paint run.Heat/Defrost- I re routed the lines from the heater box because it was leaking. I never have driven the car after October so I didn't replace it. Easy to do and cheap.Am/FM radio with CD plays through the original front dash speaker. Dash/Glovebox. Clean. Couple small cracks on dash pad.Top. Very good condition/clear plastic window as well.Carpets/New just before I purchased. Good shape.Seats. Great shape. Front bench redone several years ago, back seat good and original.Drivers side inside door panel "door card" has a spot where vinyl has flaked off. No replacement needed as it's hardly visible.I replaced the steering column last year. Had the original unit rebuilt and reinstalled. Front end tight and responsive. This car has never let me down. It looks good, runs great, and I took it on a 1500 mile trip last summer and it was a joy to drive at 65. Straight as an arrow. For someone who wants a great driver that's fun, practical and economical to fix with easy parts access, this is a great car. It could use some new rubber bungs around the top assembly, and eventually some new wind lace. All totally fine and servicealbe. The reserve on the car is set very reasonably. Please ask any questions if you have them. Here's a great chance to own a good looking classic car without busting the bank.

* Forgot, horn ring is intermittant. Will probably need a new one.

* PLEASE do not bid if you have less than a 10 score. I just endured a horrible experience with a "mistake" bid and do not wish to repeat it. Do NOT bid if you don't have the money or do not intend to follow the payment instructions as given. I have a 100 score for being a straight shooter!
