Description

Up for sale is my customized 67 Fastback. It has power steering, power brakes front disc/rear drum, tilt steering, and air conditioning. The car came from out west (I think Arizona) and was garage kept. It is almost totally rust free and in very solid condition. It even has the original floor pans which always rust out on these cars. In 2007 and 2008 I did a complete driveline change. It was originally a 302 automatic but I changed the engine to a 302ci 375 Hp professionally built balanced crate engine with aluminum heads ($3195.00) The transmission was changed to a T-5z Ford motorsport 5 speed manual ($3212.00) The rear differential was swapped out for a Ford 8 inch 3.25 Posi traction unit ($899.00) It has a Davis unified electronic ignition system with the coil in the distributor ($384.00) Aluminum dual fan radiator ($690.00) Jet Hot coated headers and stainless exhaust pipes. I bought the best of everything for this car because I never intended to sell it but I have lost interest over the years. I have driven it less than 1000 miles in the past 10 years meaning the entire drive train has less than 1000 miles on it. The true mileage on the car is unknown since the original speedometer/odometer has been changed.

The interior has Autometer gauges, aftermarket front seats, an awesome sound system with pioneer head unit, 6 channel Audiobahn amplifier and sub woofers and Infinity speakers. (I have the original back seat fold down cover if the new owner wants to remove the subwoofers.) There is an upgraded steering wheel and a new dash pad and a removable center console with storage space.

The exterior has some changes with the frenched in tail lights, the addition of the recessed turn signal indicators in the hood, recessed exterior door handles, removal of the back up lights in the lower valance panel, and more sporty side mirrors from a 69 mustang and a billet front grille. It has a fiberglass Shelby style trunk lid with the built in spoiler. The car does not leak in the rain like so many of these do. The tires are like new with no dry rot and full tread

This is a really great looking car but being 48 years old, it does have some imperfections. I'll disclose everything I know about them. The a/c is not blowing cold and I suspect that it needs Freon. The wipers don't work. There are a few paint chips here and there and a nickel sized paint blister on both rear quarter panels that was there ever since I had the car painted some 10 years ago. A few minor scratches and a very minor door ding and the bumpers have some pitting. This was never a "show car" this was a driver. It's condition is a 9 out of 10. What makes it so desirable is that it is solid and rust free not some rolling bondo bucket that's been patched together. I have been all over, under and inside this car and I have not found any evidence of collision damage anywhere. (I used to work as a motor vehicle inspector so I know how to look for collision damage)

I have receipts for the engine, transmission, differential, radiator and many other components that I'll include with the car. I also have an owners manual for the car. The car has a clear Florida title. The bidding will start at $30, 00 with NO RESERVE. I will require a $1000. deposit within 48 hours of auction completion and the balance on pick up. PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR IT! I DO NOT HAVE A BUY IT NOW PRICE, I AM NOT INTERESTED IN TRADES OF ANY KIND AND I WILL NOT END THE AUCTION EARLY. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking !
