The 1956 Ford F100 Panel-Delivery is one Rare Bird these days. Just do a search and see how many are out there... not many.
My buddy Steve bought this Ford Panel in Huntington Beach around 2003 when he did a complete rebuild of the vehicle. This little Panel is an icon around the South Orange County Area. It was a real hit at all the local car shows.
Those mid 50’s smooth lines, gorgeous front grille work and monster front fenders look amazing. The generous interior space is excellent for hauling almost anything. BTW, there is a picture of a Pack of Camels in the console tray but Steve has never smoked in it.
The custom Stereo System in this ride is killer and with the Dynamat, AC on and windows up this truck rides and sounds like a new Mercedes Benz.
When he decided it was time to upgrade this rig in 2005 he had two goals in mind: expressing his personal vision of what a resto rod hot rod work truck should be… oh… and also make it plenty fast!!
When it came time to think about painting the old girl Steve originally just went with a Semi-Gloss Black, but it just was a little difficult to keep clean and Steve is into more of an Urban look, thus the really cool and basically bullet-proof Rhino Exterior. This great looking truck looks like it just returned from a tour in Iraq. All it needs is a few Marine Corp Emblems.
You would be proud to show this baby at any rod meet anywhere in the Country. It would also make a memorable impression in your town for your business. And if that business includes making deliveries; even better.
This little Panel is sensational and has traveled less than 20K miles since the Boss 302 was put in her. The engine was built to be strong and reliable, same with the brakes and cooling system.
The Body is in overall excellent condition. There were no rust through holes to the body and clearly had never been hit. The Undercarriage is very clean and no rust anywhere. The original floors are in amazing rust-free condition.
Mechanically, nbsp; Steve sparred nothing into putting this rig back to driving condition, making it much better than it came out of the factory. AC, Power Steering and Brakes, a modern Stereo all add to the overall drivability of the car. All we know is there are plenty of miles and smiles left in this gorgeous little gem.
Mid 50’s Ford Panels like this are getting harder and harder to find. The 1956 in particular is one of the most sought after Panels of this or any era. And finding them with no rust is even more of a trick.
This little Ford Panel is completely sorted and runs and drives like a dream. It cruises down the road with authority, straight and true at 70 mph.
