1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. Rare triple black combination with Black exterior Black interior and Black Convertible top. Purchased from Bob Perkins a few years ago. 10905 original miles. Possibly the lowest mileage 66 convertible in existence.
From what I can tell the only items replaced from original are as follows: NOS Ford Gas tank NOS Ford Autolite shocks NOS single crimp Brake Hoses Battery NOS exhaust muffler and intermediate pipe and rebuilt correct fuel pump. I still have the original shocks and battery hold down that go with the car.
And yes those are original tires that are on the car. They even still hold air.
Paint is approximately 90-95% original and still shines great. Of course there are chips and scratches which can be expected for a 50 year old car. Runs and drives fantastic. Small rust bubbles on right hand rear quarter and dent on back of left hand quarter. See pictures.
This is a vehicle for show only as it sits. Still has the original hoses and belts on the car so I would be weary of driving very far. These cars are only original once. Please ask any questions before bidding. Last titled in 1975.
