Description

You are looking at a True Period Correct 60’s Channeled Lowboy Hot Rod Model A! This 1929 Ford Model A has the right "Kustom Kulture Look" built with the best parts availableno expense spared with ZERO corners cut here!

It starts stops and drives extremely well with tons of power. It has a fully built 327 SBC V8 Motor with Mild Cam mated to a Saginaw 3 speed transmission with Wilwood Hydraulic clutch. Yes this Hot Rod has three pedals and is extremely responsive. Gear selection is made with a Vintage “Tall” Hurst shifter. Three Matched Rochester 2GC Carburetors and 3x2 Offenhauser aluminum manifold set up with progressive linkage. All new 12V wiring and harness with AC Delco Generator and chromed Voltage regulator Polished Distributor with MSD 8mm Black series wires. Finned So-Cal Coil and Vintage Cal Custom valve covers with Offy breathers. This Dual exhaust Hugger Headers with 8” Shorty Cherry Bombs that out the rear Sound awesome! Custom Chopped 32’ Aluminum radiator with a electric pull fan to keep this Hot Rod running Cool like Fonzi.

The Steel body straight and solid overall originally a 29 Sport Coupe that has been capped with a leaned roadster windshield. Shot in Hot Rod Flatz Black that has been distressed and has Old school Pinstriping by Mike Clines. It is channeled 4 inches. Working doors that open and shut using Bear claw latches. Original Chopped 32 Ford Grill with one off Stainless Steel Insert flows seamlessly with the body lines. The laid back roadster windshield is a perfect fit and functions chip and crack free.

The AC Cobra seats are done in Black Old School 1" pleats very comfortable (see pics). The one piece rubber carpet mat covers the all aluminum floor. Vintage 60's 4 spoke white steering wheel mated to a Hot Rod column with quick release steering wheel hub Autometer Classic American Gauges and steel dash. Kenwood FM/AM/CD/USB/AUX Pandora Ready Stereo supplies cruising tunes through the 3-way converted RCA Vintage Drive Inn Speakers sounds great. The Guide BLC headlights and tear drop tail lights and turn signals work as they should.

A lowered ride with a Boxed Ford 1929 that has been stepped using 2" x 4" x .125 wall and with All American Steel from the seats back. The original rear cross member is set up with So Cal Ladder bars and 40 Ford buggy spring Ford 9 inch rear end with Interceptor brakes . Up front we have Vintage Dago Dropped Axel with Heavy Heim Joint Vega cross steering shorty shocks early Ford spindles with 56 F100 Bendix brakes supplied juice from the compact Wilwood Master Cylinder. The open drive line has a new drive shaft.

New 6.70 15" Firestone Deluxe Wide White Wall tires in the front on 1950 Mercury Rims New 8.90 15" Firestone Deluxe Wide White Wall tires in the rear on 1950 Mercury Reversed Rims. The Rims were painted Orange by Art Himsl. The custom built 12 Gallon Aluminum Gas Tank in the trunk has been tunneled to clear the rear pumpkin. A new Optima Yellow Top Deep Cycle Gel Battery is concealed in a aluminum compartment behind the drivers seat.

In a nut shell this is a FANTASTIC classic! Turn the key and go cruise! This is not a museum quality car or trailer queen but it is a nice driver car that will steal the show at any local gathering! Any and every-time I drive this car I get nothing but waves thumbs ups conversation I cant come out of a store with out somebody standing there looking in! It has been driven for long distances at interstate speeds and will easily make any long distance trip.

This Roadster is a California car and has many new and upgraded parts Lots of accessories and kustom pieces. This Hot Rod is titled and Registered as a 1929 Ford Roadster with a clear California title in my name and a visible vin#. Drive as is everyday anywhere!!!
