1928 Model A Ford Roadster pickup sitting on a 1931 frame. So it’s titled as a 31. Clear PA title in my name. Engine is a SBC 350 with a holley 650 dual feed double pumper mechanical carb. Edlebrock victor jr intake. K&N velosity stack.Mallory Unilte distributor. Cal customs valve covers and a Cal customs oil pan.Flex fan.Fluid damper balancer moroso crank pulley. Exhaust has sanderson style lime fire headers with cutouts. 2.5" aluminized that is expanded to 3’ at the flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Exhaust dumps just before the rear axle. Inside the tips are set of vortex cones used to quite it down a bit. The sound is nice low rumble without killing your ears after driving it for an hour. The alternator is using a corvette bracket set up. The trans is a 200-4r automatic overdrive with a Hughes deep aluminum pan. The rear is an 8 inch ford out of a 65 mustang with 4.11 gears and an open carrier.

The suspension is a Ford model A set up with front and rear buggy springs. The front spring I beam split wish bones and shocks are all chromed. The chrome is not perfect as it is showing its age. Steering is cross steer with a vega box. Manual drum brakes front and rear using a 1980 mustang master cylinder using residual valves front and rear. Front drum brakes are 1940 ford with F100 hoses. The backing plates are also chrome. With aluminum fined 1965 Buick brake drums. The rear suspension has GM A body ladder bars. The rear shocks are no longer being used because it actually rides better without them. This car rides and drives like an old car so if you’re expecting it be like a new modern car it’s not. The drum brakes work good forthis truck. I've driven other vechicles with manual drum brakes that were worse. So keep in mind that they are DRUM brakes. The Buick drums are a little egged shaped as to I never wanted to cut them. The truck has a Lokar chrome hand operatedemergency brake.

The body is chopped 3" and channeled 3" over the frame. All steel body. Satin black paint. The passanger door has some scratches on it from the dog. Removable convertible top. 1932 stainless grille and steel shell. New Stainless 1928 Twolite 9" diameter headlights with H4 bulbs and built in turn signals. Moon spun aluminum gas tank up front for that gasser look and 16 gallon tank in the bed of the truck with a fram spin on canister filter and also an inline filter just before the carb. Also in the bed is a group 31 deep cycle battery mounted in a plastic marine grade case and an on/off switch. The cab is moved back 6" on a boxed original frame. The cowl is1928 ford with some really nice hand painted pin stripping. Front windshield is safety glass there are NO side windows. Rear window has a crack in it. The doors and back of the cab are hand built. The doors use bear claw latches’ and handles only on the inside. The bed is also hand built. The taillights are glass 1941 chevy with a chevy astro 3rd brake light. The convertible top and hard tonneau cover is covered with marine grade fabric. 95% of the truck has stainless fasteners.

Interior has white pleat and roll vinyl and faux cow pattern material. The seat is showing it’s wear as it has a lot of seat time. RJS 3" racing seat belts. The dash is a 1932 ford with all stewart warner gauges. Except the tach which is autometer. The speedometer is not hooked up. All other gauges work. The fuel gauge has a miss match sender so a half tank on the gauge is actually empty. ¾ is a half tank. The shifter is an early version Hurst quarter stick without the annoying reverse lock out. Under the dash is a 12v cigarette lighter and dome light. Grant style steering wheel and a Hutchins Ahooga horn mounted under the truck. Fuse panel and harness is manufactured by American auto wire connections are soldered and shrunk for trouble free use. Uses modern plastic ATC fuses.

Wheels are Aluminum Ansen slots fronts 15x3.5 and rear 15x10. Front BF Goodrich 155-80-15 radial tires 8-10/32 tread Rear Mickey Thompson sportsman 29x12.5-15 radial tires 3-6/32 tread.
