Description

I bought this truck from a little family farm in Sonoma County a couple years ago and it has been a complete CHAMP!The guy I got it from was the son of the original owner and before I took it home the truck lived its entire life on this rural farm making trips to town and being used as a low impact tool for life in wine country. The Odometer is still working looks great and reads 47490; with the condition this truck is in I wouldn't besurprised if it had never rolled over. When I took the truck home it was dirty greasy and the exhaust was falling off but with a heavy duty clean-up and a tune-up that included:Newwater pumpNewfuel pumpPertronix Electronic IgnitionNew plugs wires and hoses and some aftermarkettempeture and oil gauges to make sure it was all working right.BRAND NEW Holley 2 Barrel Carburetor withmatching Air Filter.Dual Exhaust with a pair of SUPER MELLOW glass packs - cut off right before the back axle! This is a super clean California truck very rare; Long Bed Flareside with a352 FE (V8) Four-Speed NP435 Transmission and a 9 inchrear-endThe Ford has a couple of rust spots (seen inthe photos) but no cancer. Mostly just surface rust. While cleaning it up I did make a couple custom paint choices covered the seats with burlap coffee bags.In addition to my own farm driving I've driven this truck to work four or five times in the last year and thats about 140 miles round trip! The Ford has no problem driving down the dusty windy road all the way down to the San Francisco Bay Area and then standing still in the hot traffic. The temp gauge never moves above 180 degrees she runs cool runs strong and is a complete champ all around.I know the online Ford Truck Community out there can probably tell me more about my truck by looking at the pictures than I can tell you by looking at the actual truck so if you have any additional information about the truck or have questions please don't hesitate to contact me.Also check out the 1965 Ford F100 in the video below:
