Up for sale is this beautiful 1988 E-150 XLT Club Wagon van - garage kept! It is rare to find a full size van in this great condition and less than 55000 original miles.This van is part of a special equipment offering by Hoffman Ford in Harrisburg. My father bought this one to take the family to the shore and other family adventure spots in comfort. After he crossed over my mother used it a bit then it ended up sitting in her garage for several years. It was started regularly and moved from bay to bay. I am the second owner so it has been in the family since new.Inside are 4 swivel reclining captain's chair seats and a 3 person removable bench seat in the rear.This was purchased to haul people not tow and it does a great job of that getting 17 MPG on non-ethanol and 15.5 on 10% ethanol fuel from my own driving experience. Twin tanks give good travel range though the fuel gauge takes a vacation now and then and reads empty.All new tires last year about 5000 miles ago the OEMs were falling apart.No rust at all on rocker panels fender wells or under carriage. There is one blister on the rear door at the Ford emblem in the center and a small ding under the passenger side headlight. See the pictures. There are dings on the back of both mirrors but replacements are readily available as are all parts for this antique.AC was converted to R134 however the compressor quit so the buyer needs to replace that themselves. Everything else works. The drive train is excellent.I replaced the factory stereo with a CD player and installed newer speakers. The OEM Infinity stereo and speakers come with the van if you are a restoration purist.The owner's manuals Ford wiring diagrams and original window sticker come with it also. Current PA inspection expires 6-30-15.This is a great antique to travel in on family outings and you will not find one in better condition.
