1931 Ford Model A Town Sedan
Runs and drives unrestored this automobile was recently pulled out of storage and is now running again basically put a battery in fresh gas cleaned the points and carburetor and it started right up previously this car was driven as a daily driver. The car was just fixed up to be driven this is not a show car. This is a great driver that you would not have to worry about leaving in a parking lot or taking the kids out for an ice cream.
The paint on the car is dull fenders are in flat black steel fenders are complete but can see where they have been fixed over the years (fenders body work could be better) please see photo showing repair on passenger side rear fender. The drivers side running board could use some additional support- see photo showing repair. The seats have been recovered with army navy blankets and headliner is made from burlap see photos. From what I can see the wood is pretty solid it appears there have been some repairs made on the sub frame where it meets the cowl- see photo. Doors all open and close okay.
This car runs and drivers mechanical brakes stop ok considering its not a restored car motor sounds good currently has an exhaust leak steering has some play and have had not issues with the car overheating clutch works great(no chatter or slipping) transmission shifts good. Radiator appears to be new however at some point the fan must have hit it on fins are damaged (does not leak and have had no issues with running hot or over heating). Speedometer amp meter and gas gauge all work. Generator charges all lights work when stopped sometimes you have to pull up on the brake pedal so the brake lights don't stay on directional lights have been added for safety has a motor meter and luggage rack. Please refer to photos and feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
I have applied for a NH title for this car and should have it within the next couple of weeks so being sold with a CLEAR NH TITLE. This can be seen in Rochester NH by appointment.
