Hi and thanks for looking. This isa 1963 Falcon Futura that was customized in Darryl Starbird's shop in around 1965. This was owned by Jim Troyerwho worked there customizing cars. This car was used to promote custom work at the time andwas Jim's daily driver. We found the car about 11 years ago and returned it back into what it looks like today. In restoring this car we used thesame means used in the 60's (aka a lot of Bondo). We met Jim and Judy and have pictures of them in the car.We met Eldon Titus when we were putting this car together and he painted the fade away paint for us. I have photos of Eldon painting this car. We wanted to preserve the look of the car from the 60's. I have included a picture we acquired from the Starbird's showing the car when completed back in the 60's and this was what we used when we built the car back. The 289 in the car was the same motor that came with the car when we purchased it. I have talked to several people who owned this car in the late 60's and early 70's and they confirm the original 260 was taken out sometime in the late 60's. The car still has a t-10 4 speed in it. The car runs and drives but needs a new set of tires. The shifter linkage is a little stiff but it does alright as long as your not power shifting. This car is being sold as is. It is more a time capsule then anything. This car is featured on two pages of "The BubbleTop King" written by Darryl Starbird. I have a autograph copy signed by Darryl Starbird George Barris and Eldon Titus that will go with the car. I have a photo album depicting everything about this car that I have put together as well.
I will answer all questions.
If you would like to speak to me ask for my number. I will send it.
