By the way the noise I mentioned is it has some throaty pipes. Sounds good. Like a rod.
And the cab is not insulated for sound. So it isn't your 2015 Silverado naturally.
And the leaks I mentioned because they exist. But I haven't bothered. A pumpkin seal would work. The power steering unit leak is small. No squeal no noise.
I'd mention that I would not hesitate to drive it across the country. It's that strong and goes down the road perfectly. It bounces. It's not quiet in the cab but mechanically yes I'd drive it most anywhere.
My reserve is what I have into it. The underneath upgrade and power line costs about $10K to have done as those that knowunderstand. It's done right by the way. So anyone is at 10K before you buy the actual 1952 Ford shell. That's why these things done don't sell for cheap. This is ready to go. I encourage people to come and drive. Look it over. I'm retired. So I'm here whenever. :) I drive it for kicks. Shows. Around my town. It's plated and insured etc.
The body is solid. Some spots as the pics show but this truck is from the south. No eastern rust underneath. Fenders bed. Hood. door wells in pretty good shape. Some spots but easily fixed if you care to. Doors close right. Hinges good. Window operate fine. I listed in haste out of e bay listing frustration for me. So I'm adding this info.
