Description

Closest you can get to Mad Max's Police Interceptor on this side of the pond. This classic piece of Detroit muscle was a father-son restoration project that now needs a new home. The car sounds like an airplane. My son used this ride as a daily driver for a year but we haven't driven it much in 18 months or so. Any floorpans with any rust have been replaced. The Flowmaster exhaust is new. The 5.8 liter 351-2V Cleveland V8 plant has rendered good service. The sound system is new and most of the interior is rebuilt. The 3-speed manual transmission has a Hurst shifter with an 8-ball knob. The car is mechanically solid. The A/C and heater are new but need some spark-chasing to get the blower to run. The tach is intermittent. The right rear quarter panel slightly shinier than rest of car (see pix). A distracted coed dinged it and when the shop fixed the dent the finish turned out a bit brighter. A good buffing would likely equalize that but my son moved away to college and I just don't have the time. This car will turn heads cure depression increase serum testosterone levels and remind you what it means to be an American. Also the car is sort of famous. It was featured in Personal and Home Defense Magazine.A bunch of spare stuff comes with the car--spare wheel or two and the original equipment that we replaced if you want it.
