VIN: 6F07C219200
MILES: 71,781 reading today. I do not know if this is original or if it has turned.
TITLE: Clear title in hand with a VIN that matches the one on the car.
HISTORY: I bought the car from a good friend that is a car restorer, e did not restore the car. He bought it from a couple in MI because it looked so good and he thought the body was rock solid. We think the floors are original and not patched, his is amazing on a classic Mustang.
HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it very nice candy apple red. I see no dents, o dings and no rust bubbles. The shine is very good, ut like most more polishing would make it even better. The body looks very straight to me when I look down the sides. all door jambs are painted decent. When I replaced some rubber door bumpers I found that the car was originally yellow. The painter did a good job on making it red, ou have to look hard to find that its a color change. Its a very nice paint job, ut its not that show queen job that you haul to the show in a trailer and roll out for show.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Nice, ut not brand new. All I did to it is clean a little and put new door panels on, hey were good, ut a little wavy. The steering wheel has a couple of cracks. The headliner is nice.
WHEELS AND TIRES: Past owner just put new Eagle wheels and new BF Goodrich tires on. For sizes look at the detail pictures.
ENGINE: The engine looks to be the original 289 cubic inch. It starts and runs good. I hear no knocks or rattles. It is not a HiPo engine, he air cleaner is for a HiPo. The car is C code in the VIN, his indicated a standard 289.
TRANSMISSION: 3 speed manual, he clutch feeds good to me. The shifter looks to be a new Hurst.
EXHAUST SYSTEM: Dual exhaust, sable, ut well used. The mufflers are glass pacs that I like the sound of on a classic Mustang. It was the standard of the day and I'm 69 years old.
GLASS: I consider the glass good, he windshield is clear. I put some rollers in the front window and lubed them up good, hey go up and down good.
CHROME: Bumpers and emblems very nice. Door handles have a few pits.
LIGHTS: The headlights work, ail lights work, rake lights work, urn signals work, nterior light works.
GAUGES: Oil works, emp works, as gauge works, peedometer works.
WIPERS WORK! ORIGINAL RADIO NOT WORKING! HORN NOT WORKING!
BRAKES: All 4 are drums and I think they stop good for drums.
STEERING: I think the car drives good, t is manual steering.
DOES THE CAR HAVE ANY BONDO IN IT? I do not think I have ever seen one that does not have any. I see no cracks or bubbles, o if and when it was put in it must have been done right.
DOES THE CAR LEAK FLUIDS? Have you ever seen a classic that does not weep a few drops on the nice clean floor. I have not seen it leave puddles, ut it will leave some drops.
WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Here in Athens, ennessee 37303.
