Steel body with fiberglass fenders; Chevy 283 c.i. engine completely rebuilt by Slayer Racing Engines; Comp Cam Thumper series cam; bored 30 over; camel hump heads; Doug Thorley full length headers; Holley 600 cfm carburetor performance enhanced by TMP Carbs (www.tmpcarbs.net) ; Turbo 350 trans; Chevy 12 bolt rearend; Mallory MSD Pro-Billet distributor; electric fuel pump; Blaster 2 coil; Super Conductor wires; completely rewired with EZ2Wire harness; new aluminum radiator; original front end completely re-bored and rebuilt with new spring; steers easily and tracks straight; air shocks on front; Heidt’s Superide coil over shocks in rear; all new brake shoes, heel cylinders, aster cylinder, rake lines and drums turned; Flaming River steering box; B & M Star Shifter; remote oil filter; Sun gauges; Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R 26x12.00-15 tires on rear; vintage slot mags front and rear. This truck is definitely a fun ride, ot a cookie cutter ’31 A. It always gets attention wherever it goes. Sounds and looks great. Very dependable. . Mechanically sound but a little rattily over the bumps (part of the charm of being a ‘31). This truck needs nothing but a driver for weekend fun but the simplicity of it makes it easy for you to customize it and make it your own.
