A new build featuring many custom one-off parts inspired by the sprint cars and dry lakes racers of the 1940's.
Highlights include:
Frame and all suspension components are powder coated including the spring packs
Speedway chassis and fiberglass body, hopped '32 grill shell
H&H built flathead V8 with Navarro aluminum heads and intake, ual Stromberg 97s. Dynoed and run-in at H&H
Custom mandrel bent stainless steel headers, /8" stainless flanges
Custom mechanical bellcrank throttle linkage
3.25" thick custom Griffen aluminum radiator with electric fan and hand fabricated aluminum merged upper coolant pipes
Ford C4 automatic transmission fully rebuilt with a high capacity cooling pan, ainted to match engine and body
Custom driveshaft with heavy-duty u-joints
Winters V8 quick-change rear end, .78:1 ratio, edgelock differential, ustom fabricated quick release "push bar"
'39 Lincoln front drum brakes
Firestone reproduction sprint car tires
Custom hand fabricated engine and steering box mounts with aluminum flare-punched inserts
Stewart-Warner full gauges Tach, peedometer, uel level, ater temp, attery voltage
Custom harness featuring cloth wire and looming for all visible wires, use and relay block hidden under dash, iring run through frame where applicable
Braid lightweight battery with full isolation cutoff switch
Holley electric fuel pump mounted under tank, idden under a hand formed aluminum enclosure
AN fittings used exclusively throughout fuel and brake system, lack anodized fittings with black braided hose for fuel system, tainless steel fittings throughout brake system
Custom tube seat frame assembly, ecured to frame with aircraft spec quick pins
Custom upholstery and carpet
Two piece tonneau cover secured to custom machined quick release aluminum support, an be run in single or two-seat configuration
One-off custom machined aluminum adjustable windshield with hidden hinge. Can be adjusted through 30 degress from straight up to laid back
Custom fuel tank with one-off machined and shot-peened filler and sending unit caps, ustom roll formed tank mounts and stainless steel springs
Every piece used in this car was brand new. Car currently has covered 9 miles since completion. Every weld on this roadster was professionally TIG or Heliarc welded. The windshield and many other interior and detail parts were manually machined by a master machinist. No corners were cut on the build of this roadster.
